Our owner and lead Craftsman, Austin Kirkland has had over 16 years of experience in all aspects of building. He apprenticed with Timber Frame Horizons in Asheville, NC to become a Timber Framer, which was a lifelong dream of his. Since then he has gone on to create Spotted Dog Timber Frames LLC. We specialize in new Timber Frame builds and the total restoration of log and timber frame structures.
